DIRECTOR / EDITOR

I made this at the end of my freshman year at The New School. I hold this one very close to my heart because this genre has the most sentimental value for me. This film was also the only one I have starred in (not by choice.) I've always had a love for crime and mobster movies, and the black and white aesthetic. I grew up around very heavy New York and New Jersey accents and wanted to incorporate them into this project. To sum it up real quick, I wanted to get in touch with my East Coast Italian roots. That is all I have to say. 

PLOT:

A broke young writer is stuck on starting her first novel. She gets a call from her uncle who is head of a certain family business and he offers her a proposition. The family guilt and desperation for cash gets real...
