This one is a bit different from the rest. I don't typically make documentaries but this was made for one of my classes. I reached out and was able to collaborate with the gorgeous and hilarious Brita Filter from season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race. I went up to her apartment in The Bronx and filmed her while she got ready for a show. This was filmed on my iPhone 12, (my teacher's preference for a camera, not mine) and we talked about the safety of drag in New York City. I've always been a big fan of drag since I was a little girl and it was a dream come true to hang out with a professional drag queen. Brita's phrase is "Anything But Pure."
